Cartalax quick reference
What is Cartalax?
Three-amino-acid peptide from a Russian research group.
Used by some for joints and connective tissue.
Tested in cell cultures only; no human trial.
How Cartalax works
Lowered p16, p21, p53 and raised SIRT-6 in aging kidney cultures.
In aging skin cultures it cut MMP-9 and a cell-death marker.
Raised cartilage-building genes in human stem cells; calmed aging chondrocytes.
Computer models show it fitting DNA; unproven in people.
What Cartalax is studied for
More growth and lower aging markers in cultures.
Less MMP-9 and less cell-death marker; more Ki-67 growth marker.
Raised SOX9, aggrecan, type II collagen and COMP in human stem cells.
Normalized p16, p21, p53, TNF-α, IL-1α and SIRT1 in cartilage-cell cultures.
Cartalax dosing protocol

ClinicalTrials.gov lists no Cartalax trial (searched 5 Nov 2026). Wikipedia says only limited human studies exist but cites none.
Label and trial amounts come from the sources below. Community amounts are what people report; they have not been tested.
Mixing
Example math only. At 5 mg per mL, 2 mg = 0.4 mL.
What the research found
No human results exist. Cell-culture findings:
Adv Gerontol 2014 (PMID 25946838); Bull Exp Biol Med 2016 (PMID 27259496).; Adv Gerontol 2023 (PMID 37782646, 37356100).
Cartalax community experience
What users report. Not tested in trials.
Positive reports
- Joint comfort A few feel better knees or hips after 1–2 weeks.
- Gradual gain Responders describe slow comfort and training tolerance.
- Hip pain account One user reports easier hip pain over a 3-week cycle.
Negative & mixed
- Subtle or none Many see no clear signal.
- Not like BPC-157 Users expecting fast injury relief are disappointed.
- Weak evidence Small self-picked group; placebo and vial quality can't be ruled out.
Cartalax stacking
Same research family, different targets. Not studied together.
Injury recovery versus upkeep idea. No combination study.
Both discussed for connective tissue. Untested together.

Our verdict on Cartalax
Only cell-culture evidence. The dose, cycle and joint benefit have no human source.
Cartalax FAQ
Does Cartalax help joints?
No human trial exists. Studies used kidney, skin and cartilage cells.
Is Cartalax the same as AED?
Yes. Ala-Glu-Asp, the same tripeptide.
How is Cartalax dosed?
No label or trial dose. Community uses 2 mg daily for 10–20 days.
Is Cartalax approved?
No. Not approved as a medicine.
