SLU-PP-332 quick reference
What is SLU-PP-332?
Lab compound that switches on ERR receptors.
Sold as an exercise mimic.
Mice and cells only. No human trials.
How SLU-PP-332 works
Activates ERR alpha, beta and gamma; strongest on alpha.
Turns on an exercise-like gene program in muscle.
Raised fat burning and mitochondrial activity in mice.
One pathway cannot replace training.
What SLU-PP-332 is studied for
Treated mice ran with better endurance.
Obese mice weighed about 12% less after 28 days.
Better insulin sensitivity and less fat gain in mice.
Old mice had less albumin in urine after 8 weeks.
Heart-failure mice improved heart function.
Cells from inactive women showed less oxidative stress.
SLU-PP-332 dosing protocol
| Item | What is known |
|---|---|
| Human dose | Not established |
| Studied in | Mice (injection into the belly cavity, IP) |
| Mouse dose | 25 to 50 mg/kg, twice a day, for 10 days to 6 weeks |
| Oral use | Reported as lacking oral bioavailability in mice (JPET 2026) |
From the Circulation 2024 paper (25 mg/kg twice daily, IP) and the JPET 2024 paper (50 mg/kg twice daily, IP, 28 days). Do not convert mouse doses into human doses.
Label and trial amounts come from the sources below. Community amounts are what people report; they have not been tested.
Mixing
Capsule or under-the-tongue form. Mice got injections.
What the research found
No human results exist. In obese mice:
A synthetic ERR agonist alleviates metabolic syndrome. JPET 2024 (PubMed 37739806). Treated mice gained under 0.5 g of fat versus about 5 g in controls.
